OJT still allowed for 03XX?

Folks,

Trying to return to USMC Reserve and just talked to my PSR.

He says that in most other MOS's, OJT is no longer allowed for Pigservists. He wasnt sure about 03XX MOS's. I'm an 0311 but there are NO slots for Reserve 0311's anywhere in SoCal or within driving distance, so I would most likely have to switch 03's to maybe Weapons, which would require me to leave the job for two months and go to school. I have no problem with that but my job would, and I could NOT guarantee that I would be able to immediately go active for deployment right after the school (thus keeping my family from living on the street).

Do any AD Marines know the scoop on OJT requirements?
